We're back! Thanks to everyone who came by the table at the show this past weekend! As usual, Andy was totally swamped with sketches... but he worked valiantly to finish everything by the end of the show. It's true that the last sketch was being completed as they turned off the lights in the convention center Sunday evening... but it still counts! This year was a record breaker, folks... Andy did a whopping 27 sketches in just over 3 days! Monday he slept like the dead.
We saw lots of new faces this year, as well as our loyal regulars. Those who perused the print books this past weekend got a sneak peak at Andy's upcoming Rittenhouse Archives Batman project for DC comics! As soon as we get permission to do so, we'll post the entire library of Andy's Batman sketch cards right here!
In other news, it looks like we might be making a trip to California next year for Wizard World LA. Nothing is in stone yet, but keep an eye out here for more info! Since 2009 is the 40th birthday of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion ride, it's a good bet we'll be in California around that time, anway.
To tide you over until our next amazing update, here are two sketches Andy did on comic book covers this year. Storm is from Motor City Comic Con, and Red Sonja is from Wizard World Chicago, both commissioned by the same fan. Thanks, Darby!!
